It’s hard to be an optimist these days. While I consider myself a “glass half full” kind of guy, lately I’ve just wanted to chug what’s left in the glass and call it empty.

That’s why I was glad to read the book “Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think.”

It’s not filled with Pollyanna homilies, but specific information about research and technologies that are poised to dramatically change the world for the better.

There’s also a great chapter about why humans tend to obsess about what’s wrong rather than what’s right.

If you’re glass has been half-empty lately, “Abundance” will fill it back up.
